Frequently asked questions

Are the three hides identical?

No — each is a different sculptural shape from the same coral-inspired design language. This means your scape doesn't look matched or symmetrical, which reads as more natural and gives fish visual variety to explore.

Will all three fit in a nano tank?

Yes — in a 20-30L nano tank, you can place all three with space between them. In larger tanks, spread them further apart to create distinct territories. For very small tanks (under 20L), you might prefer to use one or two and store the third as a swap-out.

Is it really safe for shrimp colonies?

Yes. PETG is shrimp-safe (no copper, no leaching) and the smooth interiors won't catch moults. The multi-piece set is particularly good for shrimp because colonies naturally spread out — multiple hides means multiple breeding and grazing zones.

Can I bury the hides?

They're designed to sit on top of substrate, but you can partially bury the bases for a more rooted look. Fully burying them defeats the point — the sculptural shape is meant to be visible.

How do I clean them?

Lift each piece during your weekly water change and rinse in tank water. The open structure means most debris washes through naturally. Never use soap or detergent.
