Shelf clearance is the measurement people check last and regret first. A model that sits comfortably on a flat shelf can become half an inch too tall once it is on a tiered stand — and you only find out when you try to slide it in.
Three numbers, added up
Total display height is the model itself, plus the thickness of its base, plus however much the stand lifts it. The scale and shelf-clearance calculator adds those together and compares the result against your actual shelf gap, so you know before ordering rather than after.
Where the numbers come from
You will need the base size, which the base size checker will give you exactly. If you have not chosen a stand yet, the display stand finder works out which ones suit your models first, and this calculator then confirms the finished height works in your space.
Doing a whole cabinet
For more than one shelf, the cabinet and shelf layout planner handles the full layout and capacity in one go rather than shelf by shelf.
Free, no sign-up, works on a phone at the cabinet door. See the rest on the tools page.
